si-u is a skilled mechanic, thief and scavenger, his workshop sitting somewhere in the guts of coruscant – though he can be found all over the known galaxy, and that is where he's actually found more often than in his own base.
growing up in poverty on a backwater planet, he lost his parents early and learned to fend for himself as a thief, before he realized his passion and talent for mechanics and anything technical. he never really got to shed his criminal streak, though.
his latent force-sensitivity slipped under the radar of the jedi. he's well aware of his heightened senses and skills, and he uses them to his full advantage... when it comes to benefiting him in any way. he has no interest in really training them, just reveling in how lucrative it is to get jobs done nobody else can.
si-u used to be upset that he didn't have the opportunity to become a jedi, but as he grew older, and especially after the purge wiping out most of them, he lost that wish fast.
fate, however, brought the young man into touch with it after all.
after taking up scavenging and treasure hunting, he stumbled across an old ruin out in the wilderness of a planet. he'd heard it was quite rich in possible treasure, so how could he not enter one of the many tombs? in that temple, though, he came face to face with the past; a force ghost.
the spectre claimed to be si-u's ancestor,
and introduced himself as revan.
